If you’re curious about recycling and waste management on Orcas Island, we’d like to invite you to explore how and why Orcas Recycling Services (ORS)/The Exchange recycles the way we do.
Beginning in May 2026, our volunteer docent, Duff, will walk tour participants through sorting at the z-wall; the baler building where we bale cardboard, aluminum, and paper; and a glass crusher demonstration. The tours last about 60-90 minutes, ending at The Exchange for some browsing and shopping. See you at the z-wall.
