ORS/The Exchange has been a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for over a decade, and a state-recognized non-profit since 1981. Our mission is “building a zero waste community and mitigating climate crisis through service, education, and stewardship of our waste/resource streams.” We cannot do it without your support!
We are currently raising funds for the following projects:
- Tub Grinder – a powerful industrial chipper that can handle everything from branches and stumps to logs and other organic material
- Styrofoam Densifier – a machine that shreds and compresses bulky, lightweight foam waste into dense, manageable blocks or logs
