ORS Launches Pilot Program to Recycle Pill Bottles

Brown plastic pill bottles are not accepted in mixed recycling—but they are recyclable, if collected separately. ORS/The Exchange will now be accepting your empty prescription bottles for free. You can drop them off at the transfer station cashier booth. It is recommended that you black-out any personal information with a Sharpie or other marking pen. ORS will package them, and send them to Ridwell for recycling. You can use Ridwell from home too, here’s a link to more info.
