ORS Launches Pilot Program to Recycle Pill Bottles

Brown plastic pill bottles are not accepted in mixed recycling—but they are recyclable, if collected by themselves. ORS/The Exchange will now be accepting your empty prescription bottles for free beginning this month. You can drop them off at the transfer station cashier booth. ORS will package them, and send them to Ridwell for recycling. You can use Ridwell from home too, here’s a link to more info.
