WANTED: People Passionate About Recycling

If you’re friendly, love our island, and enjoy educating others on keeping our community clean, then we would love to have you join our volunteer docent team. 

We are seeking volunteers to add to our team who are able to work a two-hour shift once a week (or more, if you’d like) to help customers recycle correctly. Over the last three years our group of volunteer docents have been directly responsible for the positive impacts of recycling on Orcas! Join us and make a difference in our community, and the environment.

If you’re on the fence we suggest participating in one of our tours this summer that takes visitors through the recycling process at ORS/The Exchange. Call Duff at 360-420-6079 for more information on the tours or becoming a volunteer. All new docents will have the opportunity to train with a knowledgeable volunteer.
