Reuse Tip: Free Mobility Assistance Equipment

Next time you find yourself or someone you love in need of mobility assistance equipment, you can call upon the kind folks at the Orcas Senior Center for help.

The Orcas Senior Center has partnered with the Orcas Island Lions Club to offer free rentals of crutches, knee scooters, walkers, wheel chairs, and other mobility devices to Orcas Island residents. You don’t have to be a senior citizen to take advantage – this service is offered to islanders of all ages!

A Lions Club member is onsite to offer assistance Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10:00-11:00am at the Orcas Senior Center (information updated January 2023; email to verify days and times).
