Another Great Islands Clean-up Success

On Saturday, April 20th, 282 dedicated volunteers from Orcas, San Juan, Shaw, Lopez, Stuart, Decatur, Waldron, and Yellow Islands collected and removed 4,679 pounds of litter from 272 miles of island roads and beaches.

By the numbers:

• Orcas: 720 lbs
• San Juan: 1,910 lbs
• Lopez: 1,108.5 lbs
• Shaw: (1) full dumpster
• Outer-islands: 940 lbs
